Prasad’s research focuses on understanding and modeling evapotranspiration in agricultural and forest landscapes, leveraging remote sensing data to improve hydrological models. He is particularly interested in how advanced remote sensing technologies like LiDAR can enhance our ability to monitor and predict water and energy fluxes across different ecological zones. In addition to remote sensing he is also interested in hydrological models, and keen on exploring these models to better understand the processes in water resources.
